In the Movies..

Everyone keeps mumbling, “How the time files!” &, Lo and Behold.. Its March already. How did this month speed up so quickly. Or is it, that we are having too much fun these days.. <serious thought, here>.

Hmmm.. What do I start this month with.. Should I start on a happy note or a pensive one! Guess, going by the bright sunshine streaming through the windows, it’s going to be a “Sunny” one! Ha! And, you thought I was going to bore you!  Something’s never stop to amuse me! You, especially.

Well, I watched Hugo (2011 release) last night. I did stay up late to gaze at it in wonder. And, what a sight it was. Loved the cinematography and old-Paris feel. Don’t you wish you lived in that era? Of dancing and croissants, of warm color and hues, of romance and brilliance, of food and drink.. It takes you back to simplicity. The cast was simply superb and does make you teary-eyed. The story was enthralling and captivating. Easy to follow and simple to read. No major drama.. it does make the heart wrench. I loved it.. and this is going up in my collection of must-haves and constant-watch.

“Hugo” makes you aware that there is a purpose for all of us, including me. We are all a well-oiled machine, the world. And, we each have a part to play. So, the next time you crib and give up, remember you are there to fulfill a task, so keep at it! And, the same goes for me. Guess, I am giving myself a pep talk here..

Being creative does take you places. Even if it’s a movie ride. I would love to live my life through the movies. It’s where you dream and build castles. Its where your ‘no’s” become “yes’s”. It can make you do anything.. and I do mean anything! Where else can you perform such unconquerable feats if not in the reel life?

March is the month of Oscars and watching Oscar Nominated films..I'm curious to watch Hugo too. Just watched a really aged Brad Pitt in Moneyball..Didn't leave me inspired or for that matter with the opinion that it was Oscar worthy. On another note, I see your 'creative' streak seems to be demonstrated from your changing blog background templates. Addictive isn't it? :)
